We start with a hot towel to soften the hair and open things up, then trim to an even, consistent length across the cheeks, jaw, and chin before cutting in clean lines: a defined cheek line, a straight jaw line, and a neckline that doesn't creep up toward your chin over the following week.
The goal on every trim is a shape that actually holds — not one that looks sharp for a day and then blurs out by the weekend. We finish with a balm to calm the skin under the beard and set the hair down, which matters more than people expect if you're growing a beard out in Arizona's dry heat.
A beard trim runs $20 on its own, or $48 combined with a full haircut in the same visit.
